Charles Denson

Charles Denson

Co-Founder

Charles is a native Texan and has been involved in real estate for more than 10 years. While studying at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, Charles began his real estate career in real estate accounting, followed soon after by commercial multi-family sales and asset management. In 2019, Charles co-founded one of the top property tax firms in Texas, Gill Denson & Company. Charles also founded RealShield Insurance (Exited), a premier provider of insurance to real estate companies in Texas.

As a tenured entrepreneur, Charles has challenged old ways of thinking in real estate, in order to do what he loves most: helping others. Real estate contracts have been a broken, inefficient system for decades that caused stress for agents, buyers and sellers, before Mako Contracts was created. Graham and Charles are passionate about raising the bar of the industry standards for real estate contracts and making all transactions more transparent and tech driven. As a real estate broker who represents himself, Charles believes all homebuyers can easily do the same thing.

In his free time, Charles enjoys golfing, hunting and spending time at the beach with his wife, Mary Caroline, and his golden doodle, Lolly.
